At Dog Love Boutique, we only use a 10 on full coat resets when matting is severe. For most matted coats, 7FC is our primary blade.

It’s very short. Most pet trims use longer blades unless coat condition requires a severe reset.
Do you use 10 for every matted dog?
No. Our standard for most matting is 7FC. We use a 10 only when matting is severe.
